I received this directly from the President of Blu. I think this is a really smart move. ~:-)

Due to the incredibly overwhelming demand for blu and our pursuit of a great customer service experience, blu will not be taking orders from the 7th to the 21st of July August 1, 2009. We are pausing orders in an attempt to clear our backlog and take care of our current customers.

During this time period, orders will continue to be shipped out and staff will be working as usual at blu in Administration and Customer Care; however, we simply will not be taking new orders. We sincerely apologize to our customers for the shortcomings in our current system. We understand your frustration with regards to our shipping delays. We feel this is the best way to alleviate the back order issue and make sure those who have chosen to buy from blu are getting the service and product that they expect from us.

Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience.
